Oh my. Finally I'm on DA whiling away the hours browsing some of the most amazing artists and photographers I've seen in a long while. And what a great community, too. Everyone seems so nice and supportive, I am certain to make new friends and learn a lot about things I know and don't know. I can only hope my own skills as an artist shall be able to grow and flourish here like so many others.

All that aside,I am quite happy to have found the time to tear myself away from galleries to upload two fractals I did while waiting for my husband to whip me up that steak and rice of hers I find so tasty. She is such a good cook (and hot Cambodian to boot), I tend to feel bad for making her eat my inferior creations.

I've progressed quite farIn Wizard's First Rule. I won't spoil it for those who haven't read it, but for those that have, I'm where Richard visits the witch woman Shota and names his wish. I'm quite fond of that woman, she's a wonderful character. I look forward to curling up with a nice cup of spicy Chai later and delving further. I'm not sure, though, if I shall continue with the next book or take a break and read something else. I suppose I still have time to decide and shouldn't worry about it.

Arcanum is turningOut to be just as fun as it is annoying. I've reached level 13 now and have realized that I messed up during character creation with her initial points. I should still be able to manage, I just wish I realized this sooner. Then i wouldn't feel bad for restarting. I wish encounters occurred with a bit more frequency. It does get a bit dull wandering around and some of the quests I spend too much time wandering around. This game came highly recommended to me. He likened it with Diablo which is quite far off. He should have said, "if you like Baldur's Gate, you'll love this game."
For the most part, I'm hooked. The story is intriguing and I'm a huge fan of steampunk. I'm going to try my best to see it through the end.

Which bring me toToday's favorites. I told myself to try and limit my choices to one or two, but right now that seems unrealistic. There are too many to chose from.
This first work,
Steampunk Dalek, is a brilliant piece of fandom by

~
Promus-KaaIt is an awesome drawing of a steampunk Dalek. When I saw the title, I felt very excited and also hesitant to see. My mind's eye couldn't quite conceive a Dalek, Cybermen -yes. He's done other pieces including a Tardis, K-9, Cybermen, all very good. I chose the Dalek merely because they're favorites of mine.
My second choice, Steampunk Mircowave by

~
PixelKiwi, is a simple portrayal of it's title. His lovely animated pixels make me desire to see the full kitchen. His other pixels are beautiful and woth a peek as well as his 3D work. I'm anxious to see more steampunk pixels.
On to this third piece,
Steampunk 2, a beautiful bit of fashion photography by

~
KatBretPhotography. The model is very beautiful, her clothes and pose wonderful. I could only hope to be that stylish and attractive in a steampunk world. The rest of her photography is just as breath taking, so do go have a look.
And the final piece Steampunk, by

~
PReilly is a wonderful image of a giant robot being built. The colour in this piece is fantastic. The copper tone and glow from the eyes and chest, it all draws me in that world. This robot is awe inspiring.

That's enoughOf today's lengthy blog. It's time I refill my glass and get a bit of writing done. All this art has inspired me to create. I'll see you all here next time in the pleasant bowels of DA.
